school advisory council
The School Advisory Council was formed to provide advice to the principal to improve the service offered to members of the school community; and to strengthen and further develop the school.
SAC Members are elected by parents from the parent body to represent their views and to communicate issues of import to the community. The number of members is tied to the number of students enrolled.
SAC operates according to a Constitution generated by the parents in collaboration with the school.
ascertain the educational needs of the school community and the attitude of the school community to educational developments within the school and advise the principal on these matters

advise the Principal of any improvements that the Advisory Committee
considers to be necessary to the accommodation, grounds and equipment of the school
parent/teacher association
The PTA has a less formal role than the School Advisory Committee, meeting once each month to plan functions that enhance school life for children. They may, for instance, assist teachers in planning special days to celebrate our multicultural makeup, events such as school concerts, quiz nights, excursions, welcoming and helping new families settle in to Ningbo etc. Fund-raising may also be a part of the role, although this is not the primary goal.
